Chapter 30...Appropriately our 30th Anniversary

For those faithful dear readers, and you KNOW who you are, you'll know that this day, July 21st is your Captain's day when he celebrates his good fortune at marrying the love of his life, the Commodorable Leslie.

Again, faithful readers will recall (verbatim, no doubt) Chapter 16 of these rambling missives wherein we discussed the 29th anniversary dinner which also occurred in Indiana.  As you know, we are back in Indiana and since last years anniversary dinner was such a success, we decided to return to Ft Wayne and Eddie Merlot's Steak House for a repeat experience...

The dinner was great.  The company was great.  The wine was great.  Dessert (table side preparation of Bananas Foster) was great.  

Who knows where we will celebrate next year?  Certainly we never expected to be back here this year...

Celebrations aside, we've been informed that we may not get the Beast serviced until a week from now...bummer.  At least your industrious Captain has busied himself with small repairs while we wait.  So far, he has gotten the floor heat, the Aqua-Hot heating elements, the air horn, and the under coach blue lights working.

Tomorrow he'll tackle world peace...
