Chapter 22. Time MARCHES On... Note the clever use of the double entendre? Get it? March (the month) Marches..

Let me say this about March in Florida.  March comes in like a lamb and goes out like a lamb.  I like that about Florida...

March at Marco Beach

Western Night at the ole Dusty Pelican saloon...from l to r. John, Kathy, Mark, Paula, Louise, Leslie and Trish.  (The only one without western garb, and she's from Texas!!!)

And the light of my life...
The girl just sparkles...

Also in March we are visited by  neighbors from our street in Ocean City.  They are refugees from the state of Maryland...state motto: if it works, we tax it, if it doesn't, we subsidize it.  I

Sponsors, Stan &Leslie; refugees l to r, Rick, Heather, Conrad, and Pat.  Their visit ends all too soon and they must return to the land which taxes rain fall (when it isn't snowing).

Now, for another facet of our winter wonderland in Naples/Marco Island...

Beachin' the boats at Keywaydin Island between Naples and Marco.  From l to r, Vaughn, Diane, Marilyn, Leslie, Judy, Julian, Nina and Nancy.  Not pictured, everyone else...

Keywaydin Beach...l to r, Judy, Leslie, Diane and Vaughn

Later, a dinner party at Chez Nina...

...where using the giant wall mirror we do a group "selfie".   From l to r, Nancy, Nina, Clark, Leslie, Lynn, Patti, Stan and Duck.

Damn, if your Captain had known that retirement was so much fun, he would have retired in his 20's...

The sun sets over Pelican Lake...

The moon rises over the Gulf...

Another Pelican Lake nightfall...

Leslie and Marilyn chatting over coffee at Vergina in Naples.

And then, of course more boat trips...

Rhonda and Mike...

Dinner at the Mercato in Naples with the old Western Electric gang.  (Except your Captain who didn't work there.). From l to r Duck, Nina, Patti, Nancy, Leslie, Clark and Lynn.

More boating...
Rhonda, Marilyn and Leslie.

Leslie, Stan and Annie at Sunday services.

Well it looks like April has arrived, and we must think about what we will do at the end of the season.(For us, it all ends the first week in May.)

Check in in April to see what the plan looks like...
